brown hill
Location: Brown Hill, Victoria
Set within Brown Hill’s bushland fringe, this garden was designed to complement the architecture—mirroring its clean lines and grounded simplicity while connecting it to the surrounding landscape.
Across the road, native scrubland and distant gums form a natural backdrop, extending the visual flow beyond the property. At the heart of the front garden, a feature pond reclaimed from our first MIFGS show garden draws the eye and anchors the space. Clipped structural balls contrast with soft, flowing Poa grasses, introducing rhythm and movement that echo the textures of the bush beyond, creating a garden that feels refined, connected, and distinctly Australian.
